.
Then, simply follow the

to suspend it.
2. How do I suspend my subscription?
Should you wish to suspend
your current subscription you can do so with immediate effect through your Member's website
(Click on the 'My Details' section and then the
'My Account' button on the left menu).
This allows you to easily start playing again in future without having to re-apply or re-enter your details.
3. How do I cancel my Membership?
To cancel your e-lottery membership completely, with immediate effect, click on the
‘My Details’ section of your Member’s page and then the ‘My Account’ button
on the left-hand menu of the page. Alternatively, you can give notice of your cancellation
request by emailing

giving 28 days’ notice (please include your name and membership number). An email confirming
your cancellation will be sent to you within 48 hours. Your membership will be deemed cancelled
once we respond to your request.
4. Are my payment and personal details safe?
Yes. Our e-payment network uses current Payment Card Industry(PCI) standard
processes to ensure your details are securely transmitted over the Internet.
Our site uses Industry Standard encrypted transactions secured by
Thawte
certificates – a leading global Certification Authority.
5. Do my lottery numbers change?
Not normally. However, from time to time, our syndicates become a bit fragmented due to
Members coming and going, so we have occasional “housekeeping” periods to tidy them up.
6. Can I choose my numbers?
No. Because of the way our numbers are distributed we must allocate each syndicate a set of numbers which cannot be changed.
7. When do I start playing?
As soon as you receive email confirmation that your application has been accepted (normally within seconds of you submitting your online application form) you will be playing in the next UK Lotto or EuroMillions draw. The draws take place normally between 8.00pm and 10pm GMT. If you are applying on the day of a draw and your application is accepted before 6.00pm GMT, you will be playing in that day’s draw, later on. If your application is accepted after the 6.00pm GMT deadline, you will first be playing in the draw after that day’s draw.
8. How long do I play for?
You can play for as short or as long a time as you like. When you join you can choose to pay every one, two or four weeks in advance.
You may then suspend your subscription at any stage for any length of time.
9. Does a syndicate have to be full before it is entered in the draws?
No. Any empty places in an e-lottery syndicate will be filled by the company, to ensure that your
syndicate’s numbers are always entered in every draw.
10. Do I have to find other members for my syndicate?
No. We manage and fill ALL syndicates, so each of the other places in your syndicate is taken by other members who could be located anywhere in the world.
11. How Can I change my personal details?
You can change any of your details by logging in to your Member website; it’s accessible 24 hours a day. Simply click on the ‘My Details’ section.
12. Is VWD Ltd. linked in any way with the National Lottery?
No. Virtual World Direct Ltd is a private, independent operator of a syndicate service. Euromillions is the trademark of Services aux Loteries en Europe. The National Lottery and Lotto are trademarks of the National Lottery Commission.
13. Does VWD Ltd. have a recognised accreditation
Yes. We are members of the Lotteries Council, an organisation representing the interests of various companies and other bodies engaged in lawful lottery-related activities.
14. What if I miss a subscription payment?
If we do not receive your e-lottery subscription payment on the due date, for whatever reason, unfortunately you will immediately lose your syndicate place. You will be notified of this by email and SMS message to your mobile phone (if we have your mobile phone details).
All credit/debit card transactions, both successful and unsuccessful, are recorded by ourselves and by our Merchant processing bank. If your credit/debit card was not processed successfully and the syndicate from which you were consequently removed goes on to win, we are not liable for paying you winnings. The optional
Entry Protection Deposit (EPD) is there to protect you from this scenario.
15. What is an "Entry Protection Deposit" (EPD)?
This is a deposit which is held in reserve and used only in the event of a payment failure. It secures your syndicate place so you never miss out on a draw should there be a problem processing your credit/debit card, etc.
16. Which currency is used on the e-lottery site?
All transactions are in British pounds sterling (GBP). This includes all initial and ongoing e-lottery subscriptions and payment of winnings. If that isn’t your national currency, an easy-to-use online currency converter is always available via a link on your Member website.
17. How am I notified of my winnings?
All members are notified of a syndicate win by email within hours of each draw regardless of the amount won. Your wins are automatically credited to your online Member Account.
18. How are syndicate winnings divided?
All winnings are divided equally between syndicate members.
19. How do I receive my winnings?
When you win, 100% of your share of the winnings are credited to your online account.
When your winnings reach the payment threshold that you have selected, a payment is issued
to you via your choice of cheque,
Click2Pay
or
Moneybookers.
20. How can I receive payments in a different currency?
e-lottery operates in British pounds sterling (GBP). Should you wish to receive any winnings in an
alternative currency, we recommend you use
Click2Pay
or
Moneybookers.
By using one of these electronic methods, we credit your account with a GBP amount and you are able to
withdraw these funds in your local currency.
